"My daughter had a wonderful evening performing in the Uckfield Carnival.

Thank you for providing such brilliant opportunities for your students"

Mother of HED:Strong Dancer

Hi! My name is Lucy and I first heard about Universal Dance when I started attending Dance Club at school and then took part in a performance at Roedean Theatre. After this I decided to audition for the UD YDC programme and am now enjoying learning more dance skills and improving my confidence in performing.

Hi, I'm Lily and I have been dancing for over seven years. In that time I have taken classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Street Dance and Musical Theatre. My favourite style of dance has to be Contemporary because there is lots of technique to learn and different ways to express yourself.

Hi, I'm Georgia and I dance with both Spot:Light and Scribble! I am the youngest dancer in each company but have been dancing since I was three years old. I love to practice in lots of dance styles and am really enjoying becoming more talented at both street and contepmorary dance!

Hi, my name is Abi and I chose to join Spot:Light because I want to challenge myself to become a better dancer. I joined UD's junior contemporary dance classes in 2017 and have developed a real passion for it. I have loved dancing since I could walk!

SCARLETT - Best Newcomer 2018

My name is Scarlett and I started dancing when I was six. I joined Spot:Light because I want to show my friends what a brilliant dancer I can be! I am love performing and competing more as part of UD's YDC programme and showing many audiences what I can do.

Hi! My name is Aila and my passion for dance has gotten stronger and stronger ever since I could walk! Dancing is amazing! I wish to be as good as the Universal Dance senior members in the future and always try my best.

Hi, my name is Amber and I am a complete fidget! I started dancing when I was four years old and have loved it ever since! I love being a part of Spot:Light and learning how to do lots of lifts, contact and partner work too.

My name is Evie and I have been dancing for about ten years including contemporary dance classes with Universal Dance.

As well as contemporary dance I really enjoy ballet and have also trained in athletics; I am enjoying seeing how dance and sport work together to make me stronger and fitter.

Hi! My name is Anna and I have been dancing since I was three years old! I started ballet first, then street dance for a year then contemporary dance as part of an after school club with Universal Dance. I really want to learn all kinds of things in dance and Spot:Light is helping me become better and take my dance to a new level!

Hi, I'm Izzy and I joined Spot:Light in September 2019 after being with Universal Dance since the beginning of the year. I love to dance and currently train within UD's Senior Dance classes as well as Acro. I joined Spot:Light because it is lots of fun and I wanted to improve my contemporary dance skills. I am looking forward to all the competitions this year!

Hi, I'm Mae and I am the eldest in Spot:Light. I first started dancing at the age of three doing Ballet and Street Dance. I joined Spot:Light so I can become a better dancer and push myself towards taking GCSE and A'Level Dance when I am older.

My name is Ella and I love to dance! I auditioned for Spot:Light because I look up to the senior YDC members and would love to be as good as them one day. I am the chattiest dancer in the group and have a lot to say but loads of great ideas! I have been dancing since I was seven years old and now perform and compete with both Spot:Light and Scribble.
